Like the name implies, Martin's serves up some excellent grub for decent prices. Located on 4th Ave across the street from Brooklyn Pizza, Martin serves up fresh greens and satisfying food made from scratch, my personal favorite being his soy chorizo. Vegetarian and Vegan friendly, he (the sole cook) serves up hearty burritos, tostadas, tacos and other staples of Mexican cuisine. He has on several occasions claimed to be the world's best chef, and I will not argue with the man. He makes the best Mexican food I've ever had, and it's definitely authentic. I would have to say his breakfast burritos are my favorite, with the Burro Natural leading the pack. Although it's hard to top his Veggie Tostada as well. Martin's Comida Chingana is a little mexican/vegetarian restaurant on 4th Ave located under a burgundy canopy across the street from Brooklyn Pizza (best pizza). Martin owns the restaurant and cooks the food himself. Not only does he make THE BEST carne asada tacos (inexpensive too!), but he makes a delicious soy chorizo.
